Want to see it all but have limited time, or need to make sure your energy is spent wisely and would like a Heli eye view into some of New Zealand's most rugged landscapes. This Heli-Jet package gets you into Fiordland National Park where you will land at the top of the Routeburn. We can pick you up from Queenstown and surrounding areas and we recommend hitting the road early.

We can provide everything you need (except footwear) and will pack it on board for your Heli departure from Glenorchy. You will be flown up to the head of the Hollyford Valley and get dropped straight into the Fiordland National Park. From there you will be guided along the ridge, and drop into Rockburn Valley to Theatre Flat. Camp the night and have wine and cheese under the stars and listen carefully for a single sound. At 8am pack up and have breakfast, before taking off for a guided walk down the Rockburn Track to the famous Dart River for a 2pm jetboat pick up back to Glenorchy.

Overnight trip - gear provided if required.

Reasonable fitness level required. First day is 8km or 9 km and the 2nd day is 20km. This trip is subject to weather and river conditions, other overnight heli trips available, fly into the Earnslaw Burn, camp the night then either walk out or picked up by heli the next day. Or fly up the Rees Valley, camp the night and walk out via either the Rees or Dart Valleys (two to three day trip). Other Heli trips and options available.
